What we’re about
Middletown Moms is a local parenting group that was founded in 2002 in Middletown, Maryland. We welcome moms, dads, and caregivers alike, in our community regardless of age, race, religion or marital status. The club was founded by a local mom in search of a small parenting group and consisted of approximately 12 moms and their children at the beginning. Today, the group has grown in size and continues to grow each year with new members. You do not need to be a stay at home parent to be a part of this group!
The club holds our monthly meetings, in the winter months, and some of our larger events at Middletown United Methodist Church (MUMC). You do not need to be a member or affiliated with Middletown United Methodist Church to join and the group is open to members of any denomination/religious beliefs.
Our calendar of events has something for everyone! Monthly membership meetings, holiday parties, Mocha Mom play-dates, park meet-ups, craft play-dates, library story times, lunch get togethers, age appropriate playgroups, summer parties, clothing swaps, Moms’ Night Out, Moms' Night In, dinner club, as well as participation in local events.
Throughout the year as a club we participate in various service projects, giving back to those in need in our area. Previous community service projects include Middletown Valley People Helping People (MVPHP) and Middletown Valley Food Bank, collecting school supplies for local schools, as well as providing Helping Hands meals to our own members-in-need.
If you are in search of a community of parents, who are passionate about raising their kids while providing support to one another AND having fun, this club is for you!
