Parkville Nature Sanctuary Hike

Let’s hike the Parkville Nature Sanctuary for about 3 miles.

Meet at the picnic tables just East of the parking lot.

For those who wish to stay with our group, we will hike a casual to moderate pace and stop occasionally.

We’ll hike the White Tail Trail counter clockwise first, then the lower ground that will bring us back to the parking lot.

Nature sanctuary trails are a mix of level ground and steep hills, mulch, tree roots and rocks, crushed rock and dirt with minimal if any contact with vegetation.

Nature Sanctuary Rules:
• Dogs and other pets are not allowed
• Stay on established trails
• Do not pick flowers or disturb plants or rocks
• Leave no trash
• Take nothing but memories

When the parking lot is full, people have parallel parked along the street that goes up the hill with no problems.
