Weston Bend State Park Hike

Let’s hike the asphalt and dirt trails for 3-4 miles. Now that leaves have fallen, we will have nice views of the Missouri River from atop of the bluff.

Meet at the trailhead sign by the parking lot. We’ll head out clockwise on the asphalt loop after first name introductions.

The trails are hilly with some steep areas that could be slick from condensation, moss and debris. There are occasional rocks stumps and tree roots to watch out for on the dirt trails.

For those who want to stay with our group, we will hike a casual to moderate pace and stop periodically to catch our breath and take in the sights.

Please bring water and stay hydrated, and wear hiking shoes or boots. Hiking poles are not required but help out on steeper sections of the trail.
