Organic Rhythm Jam at Good Harvest - 3rd Thursdays

November Bonus Month! Owner Joe says OK for us to meet in November. Though the room isn't heated, it is enclosed so is warmer than outdoors AND there's some blankets AND there's the heat of the beat to warm our spirits! So if you are a heart-y drummer, let's join and jam!

This organic rhythm jam goes from 6:00 – 8:00pm with hand drums, percussion instruments and likely a few surprises! Feel free to bring your own instrument (store bought or home-made) or use some of the extras that will be on hand. AND, if you have an extra drum and/or a few percussion instruments please consider bringing them to share. We often get people dropping in that never attended a drum circle and have nothing to bring. Harmonicas, guitar, bass, voice, didge, bassoon (yup, had one once at RFU) also welcome. Note: the room is "LIVE" (LOUD!) especially if panels are closed, you may want to bring earplugs if your hearing is sensitive.

Note this is not a drum class, nor over-facilitated session, rather a spontaneous community drum jam that will be different every time depending on who shows up and the spirit of the group. No experience required!

You can enter through the store or maybe the side door if it's open. Check with someone in store if not sure.

We take a mid jam break to allow participants to get something to eat &/or drink and chat a bit. The food (natural), beverages (alcoholic and non-) and ambience are amazing! Good Harvest owner Joe Nolan is allowing us to meet in this incredible space so let's support the store.

I (Tom Gill) have been primary host, and going forward other people may be hosting as well. Pretty simple, just greet people and invite them to join in. And if you're feeling it, offer gentle guidance or suggestions for a rhythm or ???. Note the space has room to move with the spirit so encourage dancing too.
