We have been running Mindfulness Walks for Anxiety in Valentines Park Ilford since June this year. They have proved popular and we hope to continue through the winter, weather permitting. We start with a guided Mindfulness Meditation in a small area the walk "mindfully" around the park. We end up at the Gardener's Cottage Cafe in the Walled Garden for coffee. We walk at a slow pace for about 45 minutes altogether. It is very peaceful and is a good introduction to Mindfulness as a way for reducing anxiety.
