> Teacher Bio
From her early teens, Shanell embarked on a transformative journey through the practice of yoga. Introduced to yoga during visits with her mother, it became a positive anchor during their time apart. Falling in love with the practice, Shanell discovered its therapeutic benefits and embraced it as a source of physical well-being. As the years unfolded, Shanell's commitment to yoga deepened. She earned her Yin certification and later completed her 200-hour training, seamlessly integrating yoga into her daily life. Through this evolution, she found that yoga resonated more profoundly with her than her chosen career path. For Shanell, yoga is more than a physical exercise – it's a space to release ego and connect with purpose. Today, she channels her passion into guiding others through the calming embrace of Yin and the dynamic energy of Vinyasa flow. Through her practice, Shanell aims to create a space where present moments are cherished, and individuals can find balance and purpose on their own unique yoga journey.> Class description

Class Description:
This is a thorough class that is open to anyone who already practices yoga. The aim is practice and refinement rather than perfection and ''you are expected to challenge yourself''. The sequence starts with the meridian stretches, arms, side body, front and back body, followed by a rigorous vinyasa flow. There are several opportunities for inversions, and there is time to explore traditional postures or variations of postures that are already within your practice.Teacher Bio:
I am a 300-hour plus yoga teacher with a personal practice for several years. I have traveled and practiced in different cultures and languages. My teaching method draws upon various aspects; I teach Meridian Yoga Therapy, a therapeutic hatha-based sequence, that offers students the opportunity to embody the meridians and learn self-acupressure points within a traditional asana practice.Heal One World is a nonprofit dedicated to providing holistic preventative healthcare services and low or no cost—no one is turned away due to lack of funds.
