DUE TO CONSTRUCTION AT THE PARK, WE WILL ENTER FROM THE NORTH THROUGH THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND PARK IN THE UPPER PARKING LOT. PLEASE USE THE FOLLOWING COORDINATES BY COPYING AND PASTING THEM INTO YOUR MAP BROWSER: 44°49′16″ N, 93°30′42″ W.
This hike is challenging as it involves climbing steep hills and stairs. Ice-grippers and hiking poles are strongly recommended for winter conditions. If you seek an intense workout within a short duration, this hike is perfect for you.
**Park:** Richard Anderson is an Eden Prairie city park situated on Flying Cloud Drive. A freshwater spring is present in the parking lot. The entrance is approximately 1.5 miles west of Lion's Tap (Spring Road & Flying Cloud Drive).
**Trails:** The trails consist of connecting loops across hilly terrain, offering magnificent views of the Minnesota River. The park boasts over 3 miles of unpaved hiking trails, which may be icy, snowy, muddy, or slippery depending on the prevailing season and conditions.
**Hiking Plan:** Our plan involves hiking around the park and ascending hill #-36 six times. (We've named these hill based on our previous hikes in this park at -36 windchill.)
**Amenities:** Toilet facilities are unavailable in winter, but there's a natural freshwater spring at the trailhead. No other amenities are provided.

Recommended items to bring: Water, high-energy snacks, appropriate attire based on weather conditions. For snowy days, ice-grippers and hiking poles are essential.
