Discussion: Resources We Use To Find New Music
Details
THE DAY AND TIME OF THIS EVENT MAY CHANGE DUE TO MY WORK SCHEDULE.
Before we get listening and discussing, let's first set the groundwork for our future group listening experience that may well last the rest of our lives.
That was effin' dramatic wasn't it?
Anyway, let's discuss what we use to educate ourselves to become better music people.
We can go deep or we can stay on the surface.
That depends upon how the group discussion goes.
My list is rather traditional and includes newsletters and a few of the usual suspects.
Bottom line?
They work for me.
1. The YouTube algorithm
2. Consequence of Sound free newsletter
3. Brooklyn Vegan virtual issues
4. DIY (UK) virtual issues
5. Tinnitist Weekly
6. New York Times
7. The Guardian (UK) music newsletter.
What works for you?
I'd rather you talk and discuss although I'm happy to chime in when the time is right to push the conversation along
This is YOUR forum.
I only facilitate it.
Cheers.
