MissGuided Adventures - Women on a Mission - Book Club: INTRODUCTIONS

This is the first meeting for this NEW Madison area book club. We will do brief introductions and share expectations of what you'd like to get out of the club. There will be a few guidelines to topics to keep the conversation on track and from getting, well.... misguided!

This is a book club, but unlike most others. YOU choose your book to read, listen to, article to read, documentary or movie to watch, lecture or speaker to attend, it does not matter! This is about using our voices to share words of wisdom with other women and building a community of thought-provoking positive conversations.

For the first meeting, please bring ONE word of wisdom (a word, phrase, quote, or anything meaningful). It can be original or borrowed from any of the above. A notebook might be helpful for this club.

I plan to find a mostly quiet space for our gatherings. That can be a challenge, and I am asking for a $5 fee to help me cover the costs of Meetup and potentially any room rental. We can discuss this at our first meeting also.

The plan is to meet once a month and mostly on the east or near east side of Madison. Feel free to bring a guest (or two)!!
