Get ready to lace up your hiking boots and join the **Fab40+Fems** for an invigorating winter walk along the scenic Leslie Spit Trail at Tommy Thompson Park! This 12.2-km loop is a hidden gem in the city, perfect for those who love to explore nature, spot wildlife, and take in stunning views of the Toronto skyline and Lake Ontario.

**What to Expect:**

**Easygoing Trail:** This popular and easy 2-hour route is perfect for all fitness levels. Whether you’re an experienced hiker or just looking for a casual stroll, there’s something for everyone.

**Birdwatching Haven:** With over 300 bird species recorded, you might spot something special! Bring your binoculars and cameras for some fantastic bird-watching opportunities.

**Nature Stop:** We’ll make a pit stop at the nature center, about 1 km into our hike, where park staff will be available to share insights about the unique natural history of Tommy Thompson Park.

**Tips for the Day:**

Dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking on trails.
Bring a thermos with your favorite hot beverage to keep cozy.

Unfortunately, our furry friends will have to sit this one out—**dogs are not allowed in the park.**

**By Car:** Free parking is available at the park entrance (Leslie Street & Unwin Avenue).

**By TTC:** A short 5-minute walk from the Commissioner’s Street bus stop.

**By Foot/Bike:** Easily accessible via the Martin Goodman Trail.
