Practice reading English and learning new words and their meanings!
Join us every Monday night at 7:30 pm at a coffee shop for a unique opportunity to improve your English through reading and discussing the Bible. This class is open to everyone, regardless of your level of English or familiarity with the Bible. Each Monday night, we will read a story from the Bible together, learn any new vocabulary words, and then discuss and answer questions about the story. We aim to be a welcoming space to learn, grow, and connect with others.
We are currently studying stories from the New Testament--stories about Jesus' life.
What to bring:
- Be prepared to buy a coffee or snack to support the coffee shop.
- Your Bible (this is optional--the group facilitator will bring copies of the story we will be discussing. If you prefer to use your own, please note that we will be using the NIV translation.)
