Welcome back to Bronte Creek Provincial Park.
Usually, we are here at Maple Sugaring time.
But many of you expressed that you would like so this walk again thru the various seasons.

What couldn't be better than Bronte Creek presenting a very Victorian Christmas at it's Victorian Farm.
This season, it's been presented 'after' Christmas, so it's a late December visit.

The walk is mostly flat with some uneven terrain at the ridge of the valley then through the forest, down the valley to the river & the boardwalk and if we have time a circle around the farm.
I may change the route due to trail conditions as we proceed.

Please wear appropriate footwear for a 2+ hour walk/hike.
Depending on the weather conditions on that date, icers and poles may be needed.
I will inspect part of the trails earlier in the week and post conditions.

Meet in the parking lot at Orchard Community Park on Blue Spruce Ave @ 9:45 a.m. for a 10 a.m. departure.

Be prepared for muddy/snowy/icy sections.
Hiking shoes or boots are recommended (those with walking sticks may want to bring them).
Dress for the day's weather forecast, but in layers as you may warm/heat up on the trail.

Remember to bring water or a suitable refreshment and a snack.
I cannot guarantee the availability of washrooms open/working in winter conditions in the area we will be going.
There is a Tim's on the s/w cnr of Burloak and Mainway for a before or after pit stop.
