Kick off 2025 with a breath of fresh air and a sense of accomplishment by joining us for a delightful 13-mile circular walk around the stunning Bewl Water! This New Year’s Day, we invite you to join us on the annual Bewl Water around this picturesque reservoir.

Route Details:

Bewl Water is nestled on the border of Kent and East Sussex, is the largest stretch of open water in the South East of England.

Our scenic route will take you through a diverse landscape of woodlands, meadows, waterside paths, and country lanes offering plenty of opportunities to spot local wildlife and embrace the fresh weather!

This 13-mile walk is the perfect way to shake off the cobwebs from the festive season and set a positive, healthy tone for the year ahead.
So, why not start your year with a sense of achievement ? Join us for a New Year’s Day walk you won’t forget – we can’t wait to see you there!

We will stop for various breaks and a lunch stop.

Date: Wednesday 1st January
Time: 9am
Cost: £10 per person (car parking fees may apply)
Location: Meeting at Bewl Water (full details in the confirmation email)
Terrain: Woodlands, fields and roads. There is some incline to this walk but we will take this slowly. Please be aware that this will be a muddy walk.
Food & Drink: Please ensure you have all food you will need and enough water for this walk. We’d recommend 2L. We will stop for a lunch so please bring some food with you.
Toilets: Nature breaks and a toilet at the start.
Dogs: Well behaved on lead dogs are more than welcome to this event.
