Looking to try public speaking? Come along to North Bucks Speakers. We are a friendly, fun, engaging and diverse group of Toastmasters. New guests are always welcome to try for free.

What do we speak about?
A wide range of topics! For example members have spoken about hobbies to wedding speeches to work presentations as well as following a structured programme. You will be sure to learn about something every meeting and we always like to laugh too!

Who is it for?
No experience required, it doesn't matter if you have never spoken in public before or if you regularly have to give presentations. There will always be many people to help support and guide you along your journey.

Who are we?
We are part of Toastmasters International who are a world wide organisation which has been running since 1905. Our North Bucks Speakers Group is based in Milton Keynes.

What happens during meetings?
There will be a mixture of prepared speeches, helpful evaluations as well as the chance to speak off the cuff.

Will I have to speak?
No. There is no pressure to speak as a guest unless you want to. If you would like to you will be welcomed to take part in the impromptu session where you will be given a question to speak about for 1 minute.

How many people attend?
We currently have approximately 24 members who signup for meetings directly.

When?
We meet the 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start. Approximate end time 9.30pm.

Where?
Milton Keynes City Discovery Centre, Alston Drive, Bradwell Abbey, Milton Keynes MK13 9AP. Parking is free. The Farmhouse is located just behind the car park.

Price?
You are welcome to attend as a guest for free. After that, if you decide to join you pay a one-off joining fee of £25 and our membership is currently £75 every 6 months or £12.50 per month.
