From 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM we discuss RANDOM BITS where anybody can bring information to the group that might be useful or important when considering the future. Then the presentation starts at 10 AM and lasts until noon. There is usually some time for discussion.

The age of mainstream media and quality investigative journalism is mostly behind us. Mainstream media has largely discredited itself, with young people no longer taking it seriously. The last presidential election proved just how influential YouTube and podcasts have become.
Legacy Media has lost the influence it once had. It is owned by just a handful of ultra wealthy individuals who have an agenda. Thanks to the internet, citizens young and old are no longer fooled to such an extent by what's politically correct or the "gated institutional narrative", or what many refer to as fake news. Whatever you call it, mainstream media has become biased and dishonest.
Podcast and YouTube channels are waking people up and bringing truth, integrity and civil discourse back to journalism.
Legacy media outlets once held a monopoly of voice and opinion in our county.
Freedom of the press is enshrined in our founding documents. In the days of the printing press, it played a vital role in our Republic.
Sadly, in the digital age it has become so corrupted that it does as much harm as good.
The Future has arrived. Day by day, legacy media outlets face increasing obscurity and irrelevance.
More people than ever see through the propaganda of the associated press and other alphabet channels.
In its place we are left with a democratization of opinion and perspectives. Journalistic choices are at the very heart of democracy. Shining a light into the darkness.
