Join the MN SkiHawks Sports and Social Club on our 2025 Destination Trip to Mount Bachelor, near Bend Oregon.
Did you ever want to ski a volcano? Here's your chance. Mount Bachelor, a dormant stratovolcano. is located in the Deschutes National Forest. This unique mountain offers skiing over its 360-degree cone shape when conditions allow. The mountain with its 4,300 skiable acres, is the 6th largest ski area in North America.
Mt Bachelor offers:
- 4,323 acres of skiable terrain served by 15 chair lifts.
- A 3,365-foot vertical drop from the summit elevation of 9,065 feet to its base at 5700 feet
- Terrain for everyone with 19% rated beginner, 55% intermediate, and 25% advanced / expert.
The trip includes:
- Round trip air fare from MSP to Redmond OR.
- Ground transfers to and from Bend OR.
- Shuttle service to Mt. Bachelor
- Up to six days of skiing or riding.
- Seven nights lodging at the Riverhouse on the Deschutes in Bend OR.

What will all of this cost? The "Early Bird" price is $1,730 + lift tickets.
- Discounted lift tickets for 3 to 6 days are available.

Fine Print:
- You must be a paid rostered member of the SkiHawks or a MSC affiliated club to attend this event.
- If you are not a MSC affiliated member and want to go on this trip, you can join the SkiHawks by clicking on Join us. Annual dues are only $30.
- Important: Meet Up RSVPs will not reserve your spot. You must register and make the required deposit on the SkiHawks website.
