About the Book:
Two writers get a second chance at love in this romantic, sexy-as-hell New York Times bestselling novel.

Eva Mercy is a single mom and bestselling erotica writer. Shane Hall is a reclusive, award-winning novelist. When the two meet at a literary event, sparks fly, raising not only their buried traumas, but the eyebrows of the Black literati. What no one knows is that when they were teenager, Eva and Shane spent one crazy week madly in love. They can pretend they’ve never met, but they can’t deny their chemistry—or the fact that they’ve been secretly writing to each other in their books through the years.

With its keen observations of creative life in America today, as well as the joys and complications of being a mother and a daughter, Seven Days in June is a hilarious starcrossed romance.

About the Author:
According to NBC News, Tia Williams “is a writer’s writer with a fashionista twist.”

In 1997, the University of Virginia grad moved to New York City to work as a magazine beauty editor (Elle, Glamour, Lucky, Teen People, and Essence). In 2004, she pioneered the beauty blog industry with her award-winning site Shake Your Beauty. Later, she enjoyed a career as executive editorial director at The Estee Lauder Companies.

Her debut novel, The Accidental Diva hit shelves in 2004 – and received glowing coverage in Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Allure, and The New York Times. She went on to co-write Iman’s makeup memoir, The Beauty of Color, and penned two young adult novels, It Chicks and Sixteen Candles.

In 2016, her novel, The Perfect Find, won the African-American Literary Award for Best Fiction – and garnered rave reviews in The Washington Post, Essence, Cosmopolitan, People, Ebony, and InStyle. In 2023, the film adaptation starring Gabrielle Union debuted on Netflix.

Her novel, Seven Days in June, was an instant New York Times and USA Today bestseller and the June 2021 Reese’s Book Club pick. A TV series adaptation is in development with Will Packer Productions. Her latest bestseller, A Love Song for Ricki Wilde, was named one of the year’s best romances by New York Times and Amazon. Her upcoming YA romcom, Audre & Bash are Just Friends, releases in May 2025.
