The Dear Creek Trail runs along the creek bed through a narrow canyon for about one mile. There are interesting rock formation that are a favorite place for the local climbers to practice their climbing technique. The high walls of the canyon don't let much light in during the winter. Hence, I expect some accumulation if ice and snow. Spikes Will be needed for this hike. Wear good hiking boots. Bring , Spikes, poles, hat, sunscreen, plenty of water, snacks.
