What we’re about
Would you like to walk some of the most beautiful trails in the Bay Area while meeting folks who can help you grow your business? We come from different backgrounds but are all Marin or Sonoma County small business owners who see value in sharing wisdom and offering referrals to one another.

See all- Hamilton Wetlands Trail, NovatoMt. Burdell Trailhead on San Andreas Dr. past Rolling Hills, Novato, CA
This is a great morning hike as much of it is unshaded. It is F-L-A-T so if you've been waiting for it, here it is. Park between Buildings (Hangars) 6 and 7. Let's meet at the top of the ramp going down to the path.
Please leave your 4-legged friends home. The Hamilton Wetlands are bordered by a 2.7 mile stretch of the Bay Trail, with no real diverging paths to speak of. It is easy to cover as much or little of the trail as you like. This stretch of nice, wide, level, recently constructed Bay Trail is also ideal for birding by bike: cruise easily through the dull stretches where birds are too far away and stop where things are more lively.
GENERAL: Walks/hikes will take place on the second Saturday of every month. The location will rotate to accommodate different fitness levels. BNI Members, their partners, friends and adult family members - as well as 'BNI curious' are welcome. Locations will include paths and trails in Marin County to start, and be open to suggestion well in advance.
Your registration and/or cancellation at least 2 hours in advance is appreciated, so we know who to expect and can hit the trail on time.
Each hike will include exact location, elevation, dog friendliness, etc. according to All Trails. To learn more about BNI and specifically the Central San Rafael chapter sponsoring our series, visit Network Central. To contact the coordinator, email [email protected].Not open - Mount Burdell, San Andreas Trailhead, NovatoMt. Burdell Trailhead on San Andreas Dr. past Rolling Hills, Novato, CA
This is a great morning hike as much of it is unshaded. Please leave your 4-legged friends home. It is considered a moderate hike, with mostly meandering hilly terrain, but nothing "steep." I like to make a long morning of this. Some of us will make it only so far as Hidden Lake, while others may want to do the loop. To see what I'm referring to, check out this map - https://marinlibrary.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/92/2021/04/Mt-Burdell-trail-map.pdf
From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for San Marin Drive, then continue west until you see San Andreas Drive on your right. You'll see Bay Club Rolling Hills and a shopping mall on the far corner as you turn right onto San Andreas. Follow the street til the neighborhood turns more rural. The trailhead can be seen on the right side. You'll see cars parked along the right hand side of the road. Park along there and meet at the trailhead.
