What we’re about
Introductory Session: Inner Peace – A Skill You Can Learn
Since childhood, we are encouraged to learn many things: language, math, history, geography... but no one teaches us how to live peacefully while engaging with the world. It’s not about isolating ourselves or meditating all day. Instead, it’s about learning how to handle life’s natural ups and downs while minimizing their negative effects.
Finding inner peace is a skill—and, like learning a musical instrument, it can be broken down into small, manageable steps. While it’s not an easy journey, there is a roadmap that can bring clarity to the process.
In this introductory Meetup, we’ll explore roadblocks and opportunities on the path to living more peacefully. Together, we’ll look at challenges like stress, anxiety, depression, past hardships, and discover healing practices that build a life of calm and balance.
For the past 25 years, finding inner peace has been my purpose. I’ve tried self-help books, expensive seminars, therapy, yoga, meditation, and other alternative practices. I’ll share my journey with you, highlighting how each of these contributed to my healing in unique ways.
