Notice of Non-Discrimination: On our events we do not discriminate by Age, Gender, Gender Preference, Ethnicity, National Origin, Race, Color, Religion.
General Refunds Policy:
- Refunds will be issued if requested 2 weeks or more in advance of event start date/time. Refunds will be for the initial amount less any transaction (PayPal) fees.
- If less than two weeks you will be issued a 100% credit towards any future event we personally create and lead (provided there are openings) Credits do not need to be immediately applied. Credits do not expire.
- Refunds may take up to 2 weeks to process. It will get processed, however it does take the apropriate amount of time.
- Exception: IF you are attending an event and your attendance rests upon, or is subject to you organizing a carpool . . . And a carpool does not materialize . . . then you would be eligible for a refund up to the start of the event.
- Exception: IF you need to self isolate due to suspected exposure OR if you test Covid positive, OR if you feel you are exhibit Covid symptoms you will be eligible for a refund up to the start of the event.
- Some events are No Refunds. It will clearly state in the event is indeed the case.
Event Cancelation:
- Regular weather (such as rain or snow or heat or cold) does not cancel an event.* Events will occur rain or shine. If you choose to cancel due to weather you will be eligible for a 100% credit.
- In the unlikely occurrence of an Event Cancelation OR an Event Reschedule: You will be eligible for any new or rescheduled date. OR you will be eligible to transfer to any other available event. Or you will be eligible for a refund (less any transaction fees).
- Extreme Circumstance (such as extreme weather): In the unlikely circumstance a location or event is not able to occur due to extreme weather or extreme circumstance you will be eligible for any new or rescheduled date. OR you will be eligible to transfer to any other available event. Or you will be eligible for a refund (less any transaction fees).
Liability Waiver:
- Nope. You will not find that here. Here is the truth folks. If a person is an organizer they need to be responsible.
- If a person is leading and event and they lead in an unsafe mannet. Then they are liable. You read of many organizers with all sorts of wording saying they are not responsible.
- Personally I would not ever go on a trip led by an Organizer who on they event claims they are not a responsible person.
- And I would NOT EVEN RSVP TO ANY EVENT WHERE THE ORGANIZER WHO IS RESPOSIBLE FOR CREATING THE EVENT AND INVITING YOU AND SAYS THEY WILL HOST YOU, THEN SPENDS A PARAGRAPH TELLING YOU THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE.
For OUR (rustic and outdoorsy) events:
- We maintain a full professional first aid kit.
- A Certified Wilderness First Responder present.
- An "off grid" Satellite emergency Communication Device present.
- Satellite GPS location SOS beacon present.
- Any required permits and authorizations are filed and maintained.
- This includes any required Conditional Use Authorizations (CUA)
- Active and current Certificate of Insurance.
