Overseas Events: General Information and Policies

This Event is intended as a repository for the Policies/Guidelines relating to most overseas events we lead.

Notice of Non-Discrimination: On our events we do not discriminate by Age, Gender, Gender Preference, Ethnicity, National Origin, Race, Color, Religion.

General Payment and Refund Policy:
Tour deposit is due at the time of booking. RSVP does not confirm your space for the trip. Only deposit guarantees your spot and price.
Deposits range from $30 to $600 depending on the trip.

Deposits are refundable for any reason up until 90 days before departure, less any PayPal fees. There are some refund exceptions where there is limited refundability. If this is the case, it will be specified on the event post and invoice/confirmation sent to client.

Balance is due 60 days before departure, unless otherwise specified.

In the event that a traveler wishes to cancel his/her vacation reservation, requests must be made in writing by email to [email protected]

Tour Cancellation and Refund Policy (Land Only Portion):
Days Prior to Departure:
91+ Days - Full Refund of Deposit less PayPal fees
60 - 90 Days - Deposit is nonrefundable
31 - 59 Days - 50% cancellation fee
Within 30 Days of Departure - 100% cancellation fee

Airfares are nonrefundable after tickets are issued.
Refunds, transfers and change fees for airline tickets are determined by the airlines' own rules.

With some of our trips we are able to negotiate group airfare. If you are interested in booking the group fare a nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of booking. Unlike, the land deposits, airfare deposit cannot be returned, because they are immediately submitted to the airlines.

Travel Insurance:
We offer optional travel insurance for your protection at additional cost.
Travel Insurance is through AIG Travel Guard. Cost is based on trip price and traveler's age.
It covers:
Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Trip Delay, Baggage Coverage, Baggage Delay, Travel Medical Expense, Emergency Evacuation and Repatriation of Remains, Accidental Death & Dismemberment,
Assistance Services

In the unlikely occurrence of an Event Cancelation OR an Event Reschedule by the organizers, you will be eligible for any new or rescheduled date. OR you will be eligible to transfer to any other available event. OR you will be eligible for a refund (less any transaction fees).

Extreme Circumstances (such as weather and other unforeseen natural disasters): In the unlikely instance an event is not able to occur due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances you will be eligible for any new or rescheduled date. OR you will be eligible to transfer to any other available event. OR you will be eligible for a refund (less any transaction fees).

Liability Waiver: Nope. You will not find that here. Here is the truth, folks. If a person is leading an event and they lead in an unsafe manner . . . They are liable. You read of many organizers with all sorts of wording saying they are not responsible. Personally I would not ever go on a trip led by an irresponsible person.

For OUR events:

• We implement our knowledge, expertise and professionalism when planning and leading activities
• We maintain a full professional first aid kit.
• A Certified Wilderness First Responder present.
• An "off grid" Satellite emergency Communication Device present.
• Satellite GPS location SOS beacon present.
• Any required permits and authorizations are filed and maintained.
• This includes any required Conditional Use Authorizations (CUA)
• Active and current Certificate of Insurance.

International trips are booked and operated by Internet Tours or an affiliate. Internet Tours, Inc. Seller of Travel # 2000318-10.

On all our events, we plan and organize activities over the course of the entire trip. We work hard at creating a memorable cultural experience and a good decent social. And that's priceless!
