Purim Peregrination @ Lake Frank aka 3rd annual "G.C. Hike" (Rockville)

Celebrate Purim on this "Grand Circuit" 8mi moderate hike that has rolling hills & repetitious rivulet crossings. Pace: 2.5mph. The trek circumnavigates the lustrous lake traversing viewpoints & woodlands that eventually lead to a spur trail to the Prather family cemetery/ obelisk. Afterwards the hike snakes through the Smith Center-- home to amusing animals & an obstacle course. Latter of the circuit parallels Rock Creek, then continues around the serene Sunfish Pond. Highlights include an an opt. spur- loop trail that ascends the infamous "P.R.A.T.N.E.W.", a pioneer homestead, & terrifically terrifying titillating trees (feat. MD's 8th biggest). Consider donning some flashy fashion for this festive frolic!
