What we’re about
This is a group for any woman, whether new or local, in the Charleston area. Everyone is welcome! I started this group because when I moved here, I hosted a lot of cooking and wine nights with girlfriends in the community where we lived. We still continue to do that, and many of the people I've talked to outside of our neighborhood have told me about their struggle to make friends in various stages of life. Some may be new to the area, some may just miss having girls around to talk to, some may be newly married, newly divorced, new moms, etc., or looking for business networking. Feel free to come to an event and try it out! The only rule: no judgment or negativity. This should be a fun group centered around making friends and a variety of different, fun activities! The possibilities are endless, from wine nights, cooking nights, outdoor yoga, beach-going, paddleboarding, kayaking, walking the bridge, biking the bridge, grilling out (we have a pretty great grill area where I live), movie nights, playing tourist downtown, checking out shows or art galleries or live music, or anything anyone feels like doing. This group is open to all races, sexual orientations, religions, political parties, etc. Only other requirement is you must be 21+ and female!
