Welcome to the Mountaineering Club of New York Meetup group! Our club is dedicated to bringing together outdoor enthusiasts who share a passion for challenging themselves in the great outdoors. We host networking meet ups to give members the opportunity to share stories, learn, and plan expeditions together. There is a range of experience from people just starting out to those with successful summits of some of the most impressive peaks in the world. Whether you're a seasoned mountaineer or just starting out, all are welcome!

Cailyn Guo, a Canadian climber who was the youngest woman to summit Denali in 2023. 2023 was not a normal year on the mountain. The success rate was only 31%, the lowest recorded by the national park service since 1971.
