We meet every Monday from 7:15-9:15 pm Eastern Time, New York time (UTC - 5),
including most major US holidays.

We usually schedule once a month a Hybrid meeting at the Port Washington Public Library. All other Monday meetings of the Month are fully online.

Here's a peek at how a typical session at MPW Toastmasters unfolds:

Introductions & Agenda: Mingle with fellow members and get acquainted! A seasoned Toastmaster will briefly explain the meeting structure, especially for newcomers.

Question of the Day: This is our quick warm up section! The Question Master asks a question to all members and guests, based on the theme of the meeting, and everyone has a 30 second time limit to answer. Quick and easy!

Thought Starters: Get inspired by an opening message, thought-provoking quote, or word of the day shared by a member.

Table Topics: Time to think on your feet! A designated member leads "Table Topics," where attendees answer prepared questions in short, off-the-cuff responses. It's a fun way to practice public speaking in a relaxed setting.

Prepared Speeches: The heart of the meeting! Witness members deliver speeches they've carefully prepared on diverse topics. These speeches typically align with Toastmasters International's project categories and last around five to seven minutes.

Evaluations: Pre-selected members offer supportive evaluations on each speech, highlighting strengths and suggesting areas for improvement. It's a learning experience for both the speaker and the audience.

Fun Quiz: The quiz master will ask a number of rapid fire questions and everyone else can try to answer by blurting out the answer. Whoever gets the most correct wins!

General Evaluation and Reports: The General Evaluator calls on the report role takers to present reports, and General Evaluator concludes the evaluation section with final thoughts

Final Thoughts: The meeting concludes with a "Final Go-Around," where everyone guests share their takeaways and feedback on the session.
