Stone Mountain hurricane Helene clean-up

Hurricane Helene caused considerable damage to Stone Mountain Park's roads and trails. Now is your time to help!

Meet at the ranger station on November 19th at 8:45. Bring hand tools such as loppers, bow saws, hazel hoes, gloves, etc. NO CHAIN SAWS!! Bring water and lunch as we will be working into the afternoon or until you get "dog tired".

The park has removed larger trees and we will concentrate on the smaller stuff, cleaning brush, water bars, erosion and such on some of the trails. (There are trails that will not be open and cannot be accessed).

The rangers will tell us what we can and cannot do. No freelancing.
