Hi, my name is Dmitry, I'm the creator of this group and I'd like to share this hobby with other MSX enthusiasts. For those who don't already know, the MSX computer standard was introduced in 1983 by Mircosoft and ASCII Corp. and is a microcomputer not unlike a C64 or Amiga with early support for backwards compatibility and standardization across it's line of devices. It was very popular at one point in Japan, but is relatively obscure to the rest of the world.

The goal of this group is to find people who want to meet in person to explore the quirks of this system and create software for the MSX. The best way to participate in this club would be to bring a laptop and install some pieces of emulation software on your computer that would run an MSX machine virtually on your computer. This way, we will have a place to run our code and learn about the system. The devkit used is good for multiple systems and doesn't only apply to MSX, but can be used to explore coding on other retro systems as well.

I know that this group will be very niche, and most people will not know about the MSX, so I don't expect a very high number of newcomers. However, anyone who is genuinely interested in this system and group is welcome to participate and learn about the hobby. I will do my best to make sure we are able to stay on topic and make use of our time during the meetup, and as such I would like the max limit of attendees to any one group meeting be about 3 or 4. and the alotted time to be around 1-2 hours.

Short answers to questions:
```
How will you benefit from going to this group?
Attendees have the chance to practice their hobby in person with other like-minded individuals, learn new things, and increase their understanding of coding and hardware on this system through practical group effort.
Are there any requirements to join?
Yes, you must have some interest in the MSX computer system beyond a superficial level, meaning you are interested in retro computing enough to want to code and make software for it. If you do not know about MSX or don't want to code on it or learn about it, this group may not be for you.
When and where will there be group meetings?
Since this group has only just started, it will be some time before it receives attention from the MSX user group, and so I will focus on welcoming new members over the internet and engaging them to see if they are genuinely interested in the hobby. Once their goals are established and we can confirm that we are local enough to attend a meetup, we will schedule one for a time and day that works for all of us.
What about other attendees that want to attend but can't due to the limit on participants?
I'm only one person, so the limit on participants is to make the group meeting easier for me to organize and make group time more meaningful and effective for attendees. I don't have the skills to organize large venues and neither do I intend to. If more people wish to have a group meeting, they will have to organize additional group meetings among themselves.
This gives me the necessary time and energy to devote to people who are actually interested in this group, so that we're not wasting our time gathering for a meetup. Time and energy are valuable.
I have more questions, help!!!!!
