What we’re about

My name is John Ege. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor in the state of Texas. I am a member of MUFON, a field investigator, and the Assistant State Director of MUFON in Texas. MUFON is a non-profit organization with a mission: the study of UFOs for the benefit of humanity.

Though any human interaction can have therapeutic value, the distinction between support group and therapy groups is one focuses on coping, the other focuses on change. More often than not, just knowing you're not alone, others share your experiences, improves well being. If anyone in the group needs greater resources than the group can provide, additional resources will be made available, i.e. referrals or recommendations.

There will be one open group meeting, which means anyone, experiencer or not, may attend, and closed groups as needed. Ideally, this is intended for experiencers or family/friends of experiencers. Open meetings will be held once a month, by Zoom, or in person TBA. If sufficient demand is discovered, smaller groups will be arranged. If needed, smaller closed groups will be established.

Anyone wanting to report a UFO may do so at MUFON. (MUFON.com)
