Muslim MeetUp: Dinner & Quadrantids Meteor Shower (Peak)

Salam all!

I am aiming to go to see a few meteors during the Quadrantids Peak and would love if we can go as a group!

The plan is to have dinner in Cardiff (restaurant TBC) to meet up🍽️, and drive up into Brecon’s stargazing lay-by afterwards for stargazinging, apotting some meteors and sighting a few satellites. 🌌🛰️🔭

The meteor shower will be visible in a clearer sky from sunset until the sunrise the next day, although we’ll probably only be in the area for a short while (1hr)
The quadrantids meteor shower will be about 110-120/hr

Cardiff restaurant: Deli Fuego, but TBC (please share your thoughts with what cuisine/preferences)

• Cosier clothes, wrap up warm

To bring:

• snack/hot drink (for after dinner)
• blanket (optional)
• Bring a friend/family/mehram (always encouraged)
