Mycelial Mass Mushroom Happy Hour!

Reviving our most popular event from last year! Every last Sunday of each month we will hold a special gathering of mushroom enthusiasts, mycologists, mushroom growers, fungal fermenters and other members of this growing movement unlocking the power of these amazing organisms at Pomella Restaurant in Piedmont, CA.

No experience necessary or expected - come to just listen, or join in and bring your home experiments (or pictures) to show the class! This is an interactive, collaborative, community-focused community-building experience! This is also the right environment to share any of your mushroom ferments, foods or goodies that we couldn't enjoy in the lab! All this while you enjoy off-menu food and drink specials for our group, and delicious middle-eastern food at Pomella!

Some events will feature a keynote speaker and/or contributions from our local community of fungal enthusiasts; including art, music, food, cooking demos, and social engagement tools - but most of the time we will just work on showing you either the results of our Sunday morning wild mushroom hunt, or in the summer, showing you how to grow your own mushrooms!
