NAMI Eastside is the chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) serving areas around Redmond, Kirkland, Bothell, Woodinville, Issaquah, Bellevue. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of those persons affected by acute and chronic mental illness through support, education and advocacy. Our members include families, friends, and people with mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder (manic depression), major depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, general anxiety disorder, ADHD, and others. We sponsor free support groups and educational programs, and we advocate for improvements to our mental health delivery system in terms of access to care, standards of care, continuity of care, recovery, housing and rehabilitation. If you have questions, please call the NAMI Eastside office at (425) 885-6264 or [email protected]. Check out our website at www.nami-eastside.org. Please use this email or phone number to contact us, we do not have enough staff to regularly check MeetUp Messages.
Note: Most people don't RSVP so group sizes are larger, usually 10 - 15 people.
Note. Meetup.com is a public website and does show up in search engines so use a nickname if you wish to remain anonymous as a member.
