### Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches communication and leadership skills through an experiential program that is delivered through a network of clubs around the world. We welcome people at all levels of development who wish to develop these skills in a safe learning environment. Join others on their journey to finding their voice and the skills to express themselves.
### Toastmasters provides a weekly forum for us to support one another and also develop ourselves. We have a strong curriculum that is built on adult education principles and contains over 300 competencies to support your broad needs.
### A wide range of transferrable skills are available to take to your career, community and personal life. Some include: teambuilding, critical listening and thinking skills, formal and impromptu presentations, feedback skills, confidence and self esteem, meeting management, mentoring, working towards personal goals, strategic planning, construction of effective presentations, and interpersonal skills. Let us know what your goals are and we will show you how the Toastmasters program can support your growth.
### People join who are also working on an upcoming event, speech or presentation; striving to improve their English language skills or be in a positive learning environment with like-minded individuals.
