What we’re about
I used to run a health activity group many years ago! I loved getting people together to do healthy activities when they normally wouldn’t do it by themselves! The older I get, I find it’s hard to find like minded people to get together to find healthy exercises and sports. I would love to add activities that allow people to choose what they would like to do and be able to take the step to do it. I would even like to see others get a chance to lead activities they would like to do as well! I look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones as well!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS… LET’S HAVE FUN TOGETHER WHILE MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN CHILDREN’S LIVES...
Please join us again, at Brooks Kitchen & Tap for a fun-filled evening to benefit a wonderful non-profit organization, 4 K.I.D.S SAKE! We will be collecting toys, and nonperishable items to help stock their food pantry.
We will also have gift basket raffles with different themes to appeal to everyone. And we'll be raffling off several large screen TVs, a very nice expresso machine and some other really fun prizes... Also, there will be a photo backdrop for everyone to take holiday pictures and we'll have a card making station so we can send special holiday wishes to the kids that receive the toys.
Drawings for all raffles will take place between 7:15pm-7:45pm; if you're a winner and can't be present, we'll let you know and go ahead and arrange for you to pick up your prize with the charity. Tax donation receipts will also be provided if needed. (Cash & Credit cards will be accepted).
Toys should be new or gently used, complete and in good condition. We were told that toddler toys and toys for kids 10-14 years old were in demand. Some ideas include craft kits, board games, small electronics such as headphones and game accessories (X-Box, PlayStation, etc.). However, cloth toys of any kind cannot be accepted. Pantry items are also needed which include canned fruit, canned soup, and breakfast items such as cereal and oatmeal just to name a few (cannot be expired).
Happy hour specials will be available from 5:00pm-7:00pm but we may try to extend it a little bit longer. Specials include $5 White Claws, Krombacher Pilsner, Table Merlot & Sauvignon Blanc wines. We’ll also have specials on Corona, & Miller Lite. And don’t forget about $5 & $8 appetizers! However, full menu items will be available, and the dining room will also be open for dinner.
Parking info: Once you're close to the event location, turn at the light at Meyers Rd. and 22nd St. into the Regency Place Apartments complex. Parking is available in the restaurant parking lot as well as the Salon and Dance Studio spaces. Parking is also available in the spaces in back of the restaurant. However, please do not park in the apartment building parking garage. We may be able to provide additional parking if needed.
