Nashville Poetry Salon IS ON HIATUS. We are not meeting!

We are a poetry critique group, open to experienced, published poets as well as beginner and emerging writers. All are welcome. We are an energetic, friendly group but we're serious about our poetry. We're eager to share our poems and learn from other's comments. We aim for positive, constructive criticism.

Please take note of how many RSVP's are given for the meetup. Bring one poem with the appropriate number of copies. Poems should be 1 page or less in length, with prose poems about a half page in length. Each poet will read their poem aloud, then another group member will read it, followed by discussion and critique lasting approximately 10 minutes. First timers are welcome to just listen and get a feel for how we do things if they choose.

We seek to establish a vibrant poetry community, meeting for open-mic events or poetry readings in the middle TN area. Come join us!
