Ever wanted to roll a 20-sided die, team up with a band of misfits, and battle a grumpy goblin with a bad attitude? ⚔️ Then dive into our magical meetup, where Dungeons & Dragons newbies are more than welcome!
Think: Frodo meets Friends, with a dash of Stranger Things thrown in (minus the scary bits, we promise!). We're all about slaying the learning curve, not monsters (though we might slay those too eventually... for good, not evil, of course!).
No experience? No problem! We'll guide you through character creation, dice-rolling basics, and how to unleash your inner adventurer. Think epic stories, hilarious moments, and enough friendship to fill a dragon's hoard.
Here's what awaits you:
- Friendly faces and open arms: We're a welcoming bunch who love laughing, adventuring, and making new friends.
- One-shots and campaigns: Choose your poison! Dive into bite-sized adventures or get swept away in long-term epics. ⚔️

Embark on an epic quest with fellow beginners at our Dungeons & Dragons meetup! Together, we'll create characters, conquer dungeons, and battle monsters – all while having a blast. No experience is needed; just bring your imagination!To prepare:
- Download the free D&D Beyond app and create your character (pro tip: equip a weapon!). The app is user-friendly and will guide you through the process.
- RSVP and confirm your attendance on the day to avoid no-shows and allow others a chance to join the adventure.
To help with planning and running the games, we’ve introduced a £2 fee to mitigate the impact of no-shows on the session.
