***You can join our hike or just relax at the campground, enjoying nature and peace your mind.

The Catskills are stunning during peak fall foliage, and covering Peekamoose, Table, Panther Mountain, and Giant Ledge will give you incredible views.

*** On October 5, we will hike on Peekamoose, Table Mountain from 9:30 am.
*** Stay overnight at Woodland Valley Campground. (Extremely clean shower room, and dishwashing station, close to beautiful trails.)
***On October 6, we will continue hiking to Giant Ledge. You decide if you want to hike Panther Mountain.

  • Table Mountain: 3,847 feet elevation. The summit offers views, you’ll pass through beautiful hardwood forests. You'll gain significant elevation over a relatively short distance, with the trail becoming increasingly rocky.
  • Peekamoose Mountain: 3,843 feet elevation. The summit is wooded, there are some excellent viewpoints where you can see the Catskill High Peaks and the Rondout Reservoir.
  • Panther Mountain: 3,847 feet elevation. The trail to Panther features a mix of rugged terrain and serene forests, culminating in a summit that boasts expansive views of the Catskills, the Hudson Valley, and beyond.
  • Giant Ledge: offers a breathtaking vantage point with a series of rock outcrops that provide panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, especially vibrant during the fall when the foliage transforms into a spectacular display of colors.

The fee is $ 30/per. Offer tent spot, chips, fruit, and water.

Carpooling is encouraged! If you need a ride, or if any drivers can offer one or are willing to rent and share a car, please leave a message in the comments.

Please bring: tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, cooker gear, Poles, SnacksWater/Sports Drink, Headlamp, rain gear, Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, and Bug repellent.
