This will probably be the last event for this Dorset group, & we, er, will sneak just into Hampshire, by the New Forest.

Meet at 10.15 am in the Large Car Park at **Tern Hide** (*opposite* visitor centre entrance car park), for 10.30 am start.

We visit up to 4 or 5 hides and take about 2 or 3 hours. We’ll look for water birds, waders, Goosanders, then at the Woodland Hide should see Woodpeckers, Nuthatches, Reed Buntings, Goldfinches, Thrushes, various tits and finches, Siskins, and with fortune, Redpolls and Bramblings. Will see if the Bittern is here at North Hide, this year.

Bring your binoculars, and cameras, refreshments, a flask, cakes pretty much essential. Afterwards, for those interested, we may go to The Alice Lisle Pub for a coffee or drink and cakes, it’s just a mile, 5 minute drive.
If you want a coffee and cakes on the way, get a take-away from the garage before Ellingham Drove, on the road from the Ringwood roundabout. Toilets are here.
