MT TE AROHA (SUNDAY)

WELCOME EVERYONE
Join us for a walk to the top of Mt Te Aroha. It's a pretty high 900 metre vertical climb. We're also going on Saturday 19th October. Choose one, or both!

SUNDAY 20TH OCTOBER
9:30am Arrive at Mt Te Aroha. Start walking up.
12:00pm Enjoy lunch.
1:00pm Reach the top.
4:00pm Reach the carpark.

GEAR
Backpack.
Pack liner to waterproof gear.
Food and water.
Warm-when-wet breathable layers (e.g. merino shirt, merino jumper, puffy synthetic-filled jacket).
Rain jacket.
Hiking shoes or boots.
Sunscreen, lip balm.
Emergency blanket/bag/shelter.
Headlight (just in case).
You may find hiking poles very helpful.

GETTING THERE

If 1 passenger suggest give driver $35.
2 passengers $30 each.
3 passengers $25 each.
