WELCOME EVERYONE
Join us for a walk to Kohukohunui Peak, the highest peak of the Hunua Ranges. The walk is 24km long, has an elevation gain of 550 metres, and may take us 11 hours.

WEDNESDAY 25TH SEPTEMBER
8:30am Park at Upper Mangatawhiri carpark, next to Upper Mangatawhiri campsite.
8:45am Begin walk: Lilburne Road Track, Ernies Track to Kohukohunui Track, Kohukohunui Peak and back any way we like.
5:30pm Arrive at Upper Mangatawhiri carpark.

GEAR
Headlight.
Backpack.
Pack liner to waterproof gear.
Food and water.
Warm-when-wet breathable layers (e.g. merino shirt, merino jumper, puffy synthetic-filled jacket).
Rain jacket.
Hiking shoes or boots.
Emergency blanket/bag/shelter.

GETTING THERE
Use the comments section below to offer a lift or ask for a lift.
If 1 passenger suggest give driver $20 from West Auckland.
2 passengers, $17 each.
3 passengers, $15 each.
