CT State Northwestern Entrepreneurial Center presents the Small Business Seminar: Legal 101
Most startup and small business owners aren't legal experts. But every business needs to interact with, follow, and be aware of the laws that govern their company and their industry. In this seminar, you'll learn from legal expert Gideon Rothschild what regulations exist that will impact your business, from incorporation and launching your idea to building customer relationships, selling products or services, paying taxes, filing for IP and trademarks, and eventually growing and potentially selling your business. You'll also learn what new changes in the law mean for you if you are an LLC, and you'll get a chance to ask your most important business-law related questions.
This seminar will be taught by Gideon Rothschild, a retired attorney and CPA with extensive experience advising business owners on tax and asset protection planning.
If you have any questions about the event, please email Entrepreneurial Center Director John Fiorello at [email protected]
If you're a startup or small business looking for support or would like to pitch and get great mentor help at a Northwest Startup Community Night, schedule a meeting with John at www.calendly.com/nwcc
This event is sponsored by Torrington Savings Bank, a great community bank that cares about supporting local businesses! You can learn more about them at www.TorringtonSavings.bank.
