The 88 acres known as the Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve began life in 1979 as a confined disposal facility to contain sediment excavated from Cleveland Harbor. About 280 species of birds have been recorded to date, and spring and fall migration can bring spectacular fallouts of birds.
We will hike the Lakefront Nature Preserve and then Rockefeller Greenhouse to take in the holiday displays.
Hike will be about 5 miles. Dogs are not allowed at the Nature Preserve. Hike at your own risk.
