Name: Wallace Lake intermediate hike (new route)

This 17.6 acre lake was once a quarry that produced some of the finest sandstone in the world. In 1941 the site was flooded to create a lake complete with a sandy beach for summertime fun.
We will take a different route that includes some hilly terrain, and we also walk across the new covered bridge built this year.
Hike will be about 4.5 miles. Leashed dogs welcome. Hike at your own risk.
