The Bath Nature Preserve is a 410-acre parcel, which was formerly part of the Ray mond Firestone Estate. It was funded by a bond issue that passed in March 1996 and pur chased on October 1997 by Bath Township. The Bath Nature Preserve was open for public use in August of 2001. In 2002, Bath Township signed an agreement with the University of Akron in which the university conducts academic programs, research, and studies pertaining to the biology and ecology of the property.
Hike will be about 5 miles. Leashed dogs welcome. Hike at your own risk.
