Downtown Newburyport hosts "3" Holiday Invitation nights on Fridays in December! Let's spend an evening enjoying great merchant hospitality, live entertainment and shopping in downtown Newburyport. Both the shops and downtown are beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Most serve complimentary holiday-themed libations and snacks and also feature special sales should you wish to make a purchase.

**\*\*\*PLEASE NOTE:** These evenings are VERY popular! We will be inside and out, walking throughout downtown. Wear comfortable shoes and DRESS ACCORDING TO THE WEATHER OF THE DAY. At this type of event it is nearly impossible to stay together as a "group." Usually people break off into smaller ones at their own pace and according to interest. The shops are small and may become crowded. If this is an issue for anyone it may not be the best event to attend. There are many others on the calendar to choose from.

**WHERE TO MEET UP:** we will meet up just outside The Firehouse Center For The arts at the designated time. If it's snowing we will meet inside the entrance. PLEASE BE ON TIME. We will wait 5 minutes and then be on the move. If you are going to be late, please add to the comments on the event page so we can connect. Sorry, I can't commit to keep checking my phone for comments , but will do my best.

**PARKING:** Parking is ALWAYS tight in downtown. There are several paid lots and a garage to choose from. \*\*\*\*The earlier you arrive the better chance you will have to find parking. If you choose to carpool it helps. but you are responsible to work out your own arrangements.

**\*\*\*DINNER/DRINKS: IF you wish to stay for dinner/drinks please add to the comments on the page.** Depending on response I will make a reservation for "10" at a venue .T.B.D. We will all meet up at the designated restaurant at the time of the reservation. Please stay in the loop for more info on that.
**\*\*\*THE WEATHER:** Light snow will be absolutely beautiful and add to the festivity of the evening! However a storm will postpone the event. Please check for any updates should the weather be questionable.
