**White Ribbon Day is an annual event that raises awareness of violence against women and asks men to assume responsibility as allies for women. On Sunday 24th November Chester Women’s Aid will be holding a fundraising event in Chester, opposite Debenhams, from 11am-3pm. Karamba Samba will be there at 11, Handbag of Harmonies at 12:30 and Proud Marys at 1:15. Father Christmas will be there with photo opportunities for the little and large. There will be support from the Police and Fire and Rescue Service. If you’re in town, please come along to see the performers and, if you’re able, donate to help Chester Women’s Aid raise funds for people fleeing domestic abuse.**
