Sorry, making this event a little later because I have to Facetime family on the West Coast, and you know, 3 hour time gap...

Let's meet in the parking lot at D.C. Moore School, 82 Elliot St., East Haven, at 1:30 p.m. and walk the trails, including some new trails we haven't walked before. Distance should be around 3 miles.

I won't make a reservation to the diner, but we might be able to go as a small group anyway. They had plenty of space at the smaller tables last year.

"Farm River State Park may not rank high on the list of parks by size but it is well placed when ranked by location. Taking its headwaters to the northeast, the Farm River flows 16.5 miles on its way past the Park where visitors enjoy the sun, sights and salt air of Long Island Sound."
