We have 3 presentations planned for November:
Sustainable Composites
A Pennsylvania-based materials engineering company that offers an eco-friendly solution for businesses. Their unique recycling process transforms waste materials, like scrap leather, into high-performance composite products. By integrating these sustainable composites into their supply chains, companies can meet their ESG goals and demonstrate their commitment to sustainability. Sustainable Composites' innovative approach maximizes material utilization while prioritizing environmentally responsible manufacturing. With their expertise in material science and the outdoor industry, Sustainable Composites is pioneering the next generation of sustainable composite materials.
Two Harrisburg University Presentations:
Aidan Uray and Byron Fitch, seniors at ADMA, present their insights from a summer internship at Wolfgang Confectioners, a co-manufacturing company in York, PA. They will share their behind-the-scenes look at how the different departments at Wolfgang - from shipping and warehouse to operations and maintenance - work together to keep the manufacturing process running smoothly. Learn how effective communication and collaboration across teams are critical to the success of a complex manufacturing operation.
During his 6 months with KVG, Martin Johnson(senior ADMA student at HU) has had the opportunity to contribute to the company's additive manufacturing solutions. At last month’s J-DAMMIT conference, he showcased KVG's virtual reality (VR) environment that impressed attendees at previous events. Utilizing the ENGAGE software on Meta Quest 3, this VR space showcases KVG's global presence and ability to provide additive solutions to customers worldwide, even in challenging locations like the Philippines, Moldova, and Ukraine. As a solutions company, not just a 3D printing business, KVG is extending its reach and empowering customers with the knowledge and tools to develop and troubleshoot parts locally. This presentation will highlight KVG's innovative approach to additive manufacturing and its commitment to supporting clients globally.
Every 3rd Monday of the month until April 2, 2025
