Steam Sneakerheadz is a platform designed to engage students in STEAM topics. The use of Sneaker Culture and hip hop are elements that attract students to participate. These familiar elements better position engagement in science topics. Ky is building program materials for a series of courses designed to create the desired engagement.

Envision Biomedical is a research organization focused on the development and application of silicon and related materials to eye-based applications (think contact lens) and are finding that these materials are being applied in other medical applications where material expertise and formulation are required to develop new solutions.
