The Lenape Trail in South Mountain Reservation offers a scenic and moderately challenging hike. This trail covers varied terrain, including woodlands, streams, and ridgelines, providing beautiful views and peaceful natural surroundings. One of the highlights of the hike is a stop at Hemlock Falls, a picturesque 25-foot waterfall nestled within the reservation. The falls are particularly scenic after recent rainfall, where water cascades down the rocky face, offering a perfect spot for a short break.

The Lenape Trail offers a total elevation gain of around 1,600 feet, with sections that will get your heart pumping but are manageable for experienced hikers. The combination of nature’s beauty, the sounds of the falls, and the forested trails make it a rewarding hike for those looking to explore the South Mountain Reservation
